I have been celebrating occasions in beautiful ways. Celebrations for me are a good way to keep away from the day to day drill. They further tighten the family knots I would say. While my son Adhuv loves checking the memories on the iphone, I thought of taking this a step forward by also writing the details with pictures. And what good place to write about it other than at blogs.

| I taught myself to make the moong dal laddoos! |
Adhuv must eat laddoos I am told, good for his health, so came the occasion of Babasaheb's Jayanti and Vishal helped by keeping Adhuv at bay, Yes but they are my first aids, or ginnipigs, to slurp the dish and comment. I can't taste self cooked food diligently.
| So there was Ghee cum moong dal laddoos with my twist of coconut and ground sugar roll, bhakarwadi. |
Morning had thalipeeth with ladoos and bhakarwadi, we start with feeding the first bite.
| Framed Babasaheb's lines to lesson from.. |
Prayers followed by giving flowers to all and touching their feet, wishing them Jaibhim.
| Lunch was again first ever homemade Aamrakhand- Poori, Aloo subzi combo over rangoli decorated thalis. I drew raw mango around my motherinlaw's thali, ripe one for fatherinlaw with red flowers pointing towards mummy from him, for Vishal there was aam ras rangoli. |
| Made a rangoli after a time out of my mind |
